With business becoming more "global", competition more fierce, and business visits less frequent, it is important that foreign business people make the very best possible "first" impression on their future U.S. clients. When considering all the time, effort and money spent to travel to the U.S. to give an important business presentation, I believe that the small investment spent on improving presentation skills is the best investment. I always recommend that foreign speakers contact Presentations International for the best "Speech Coaching" program available to improve their spoken presentation skills significantly.

Business has gone global,
and English has become the international language of business.
To succeed in this global marketplace it is not enough to just be able to speak English. You need to be able to sell your idea, project, or product to your audience effectively. Even a native English speaker may find it difficult to master the subtleties of the language and the fine points of appropriate business terminology. Imagine the added uncertainty of expressing yourself in English when it's not your native language.
This is the problem that many non-native English speakers face with their business presentations. Even speakers who are comfortable using every day English can find that they become so pre-occupied with speaking correctly that they fail to get their point across clearly. Sometimes they even lose the sense of personality and energy with which they communicate in their native tongue.
As is often quoted, "English is one of the easiest languages to speak badly and one of the most difficult to speak well."
But there is a solution to this dilemma.
